Institute of Macedonian Literature at the Philological Faculty “Blazhe Koneski” and Kultura, Skopje, 1997
Dimensions 20cm

ISBN 9989-32-092-6
Tashko Georgievski’s novels are being researched from the aspect of the poetics of the exile and it is being done on several levels: introducing the so called “Aegean topic” in the Macedonian novelistic production, thematic-motif characteristics (motifs: migrations, returning, violence, love), transformation of the historical materials, the basic narratologic instances in the construction of the poetics of the exile. The process, through which the imagination and the creative talents are forming the historical materials into the symbolic images of the universal, common human knowledge, is also being regarded. On the other hand, the book reveals the process that forms the historical facts into compositional elements as for example the narrator’s point of view, which is amongst the refugees, which is the place where the action is being lead from. That type of position of the narrator provides division of the space: own/foreign, which groups the characters in two worlds: refugees/the rest (mostly authority representatives). (top)
