Spectrum, a magazine dedicated to the literary science, is formed in 1983 in order to contribute to the affirmation of the research work of the Institute and become a media through which an exchange of experiences and information from the domain of the contemporary scientific achievements will take place. The magazine consists of the following sections: Literary History, Contemporary Macedonian Literature, Literary relations – Reprint from the world, Theory-poetics and Myth-folklore that are creating the basic distinctive features of the magazine. Special emphasis is being given to the reviews, presentations, retrospections of the latest scientific and research literature, while some of the issues also provide additional space for scientific debates and bibliographies. All together, they express the diversity of the magazine and present the continuity and the identity of the Macedonian literature. Spectrum is being distributed to more than hundred foreign and app. five hundred domestic addresses. Its profile is well-known and available in all the Slavistic centres, the research and university institutions, the larger libraries, as well as on the Internet starting from No.41-42. (top)
